Urban Meyer’s reputation precedes him. After brief coaching stints at Bowling Green State University and the University of Utah, Meyer started coaching the Florida Gators. With Meyer as their leader, the Gators dominated the SEC and BCS football, never posting worse than an 8-5 record. Under Meyer, the Gators’ all-around record was 65-15 while their SEC record was 36-13. In addition to this, Meyer’s Gators won two BCS National Championships from the 2006 and 2008 seasons. After resigning as the head football coach, he worked as a college football commentator and analyst for ESPN. However, the field still called his name and Urban Meyer returned to the world of college football in November 2011, this time as head coach of the OSU Buckeyes.
